Online Quran Classes for Sisters with a Female Teacher from Madinah

Many sisters want to learn the Quran with a female teacher: for comfort, for privacy, and to learn freely without hesitation. But finding a female teacher who is truly qualified, with correct recitation and a clear method, is not easy. On Quranic Values, sisters and children can study one-to-one with our female teachers, who learned in the Quran circles of Madinah. This page explains who they are, what they teach, how privacy is handled, and what a clear method can change.
Our Female Teachers
We currently have four female teachers. Like every teacher on our platform, they learned in the Quran circles of Madinah, al-ḥamdu lillāh. Their Tajweed and pronunciation are sound, and they have extensive experience in remote teaching. They follow the same unified method and plan as all our teachers.
What the Female Teachers Teach
- Quran memorisation (hifz) with a personal plan for new lessons and revision.
- Recitation correction, with theoretical and practical Tajweed.
- Noorani Qaida for beginners and children. See our Noorani Qaida course.
- Hadith: Sunnah, etiquette and daily supplications.
- Arabic language, including the essentials for understanding the Quran.
Ruqyah and Quran maqamat are not taught by the female teachers.
Privacy and the Camera
| Student | Camera |
|---|---|
| Children | Camera on is required, so the teacher can follow the child properly. |
| Adult sisters | Not required. Used only when needed, for example when a letter is mispronounced and the teacher needs to see the mouth. A sister may keep her camera on throughout if she prefers. |
| The teacher | Opens her camera only when necessary. |
Classes are one-to-one, so a sister learns in privacy, at a time she chooses, from her own home.
Can I Choose a Specific Female Teacher?
Yes. A sister may request a specific female teacher, and we will arrange it. And if a change is ever better, a student can change teacher; because all our teachers follow one unified system, the plan continues smoothly.
A Real Example: Four Years Without a Method
Last week, a sister from Canada started with us, and we placed her with one of our female teachers. Her story is common. For four years she had studied with a private teacher, and in all that time she only read the Quran by looking (naẓar). In four years she could have completed the Quran and memorised many classical texts, but because her previous teacher had no method, a great deal of time was lost.
Now she has what she was missing: a level assessment, a personal plan for memorisation and revision, a daily follow-up record and a monthly evaluation. Read more about how our classes work in One-to-One Online Quran Classes.
Who Stands Behind Our Teachers?
Every teacher on Quranic Values, male and female, learned in the Quran circles of Madinah and is qualified under the sheikhs and reciters of Madinah. The platform was founded by Sheikh Abdul Rahman Yaqoob, a graduate of the Islamic University of Madinah who taught in the circles of the Prophet’s Mosque.
Quranic Values is an independent online platform and is not officially affiliated with Al-Masjid an-Nabawi.
